Future Horizons provide high quality supported housing in Staffordshire with an individually activated fire safety sprinkler system and call assist. We offer bespoke packages of support for young people with additional needs as well as care leavers aged from 16 to 21 years old.
Providing supported housing in Staffordshire that also meets the needs of care leavers while improving outcomes for this vulnerable group. It is our aim to support local authorities in their duty to safeguard and also promote the welfare of young people looked after and leaving care.
What we offer
Accommodation
All our supported housing in Staffordshire is self-contained accommodation. There are 5 single-occupancy studio flats in the main building in addition to 2 semi-detached houses on site. Furthermore the accommodation is suitable for mother and baby, young parents, and other shared housing needs.
NB: Our accommodation services allow no overnight guests. In addition to this there is an expectation that young people return at an agreed time at night.
Transitional support
We recognise the importance of established relationships and support networks as young people move on to independent accommodation in the community, therefore we offer bespoke packages of reliable transitional support to suit individual needs.
24 hour staff support
Staff are onsite overnight and up to 24 hours depending on the level of support agreed. Each young person has a named key worker in addition to access to psychological is available.
Community outreach support
We can provide home visits as well as telephone contact to young people who have left our accommodation to live in the community within a 20mile radius.
